Easter fun at the Los Angeles Arboretum

Easter fun at the Los Angeles Arboretum

We recently became LA Arboretum members! (Thanks to Groupon) we got an amazing deal! I think we got the year for $35 which is over 50% discount. We had a membership to Descanso gardens which expired earlier this year and that alone was $85 for the year! CRAZY. I do prefer Descanso because its closer and there is never any traffic on the 2 freeway. The arboretum does have peacocks and they absolutely gorgeous. (and LOUD) lol.  On Easter Sunday we headed to the arboretum for a huge easter egg hunt and festival. The kids didn't really "hunt" for the...

A Diaper Story

A Diaper Story

Before Harrison was born I stocked up on diapers of all kinds but mostly I bought and was gifted diapers from "Honest Co" oh my goodness the prints are to die for and SO cute! Mainly because this is what I had asked for and why? well honestly I had no experience with them I just thought oh my goodness the cuteness! I am kidding. no, no I am not. It's crazy the amount of things I have bought online in his short...

Smorgasburg Sunday's

Smorgasburg Sunday's

One of our favorite things to do on Sundays is to hit up Smorgasburg in DTLA.  It's a gathering of small shops and pop up restaurants with some of the yummiest and truly unique foods. We love trying new stuff! Today they had some extras for the kids if they went dressed up because its halloween tomorrow. Sadie dressed up in her bell costume and of course ruined it before even getting in the car to go. I'm slowly getting used to this new messy age but no I am really not haha. Anyway, right when we got inside she...

And a baby makes 4!

This past July we welcomed our baby boy Harrison Cove earthside. He came out like a little firecracker 4 days early on (yep, I pretty much called it with my luck) independence day! The freaking forth of July! It was a blessing in disguise as I was already so worrisome about my scheduled c- section because my doctor a week prior to the date decided to take vacation and tell me at my last appointment. anyway, I was freaking out. Went into labor in the wee hours of the morning and tried to fight the contractions as long as could until finally...
